In celebration of Banned Books Week in early October and the freedom to read and connect through books (which we are always promoting), join us for a screening of Judy Blume Forever, a documentary about the beloved author and anti-censorship activist, Judy Blume. The screening will be followed by a short (and optional) round-table discussion led by the Becket Athenaeum’s Program Coordinator, Kate Hubbell, about the power of books in our lives, to connect, educate, inspire, and feel seen – and the importance in advocating for the freedom to read.
Movie starts at 7pm
Refreshments including popcorn, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages will be served
You're welcome to bring your beverage of choice (including alcohol)
