Becket Athenaeum Materials Donation Policy
We hold regular fundraising book sales on our lawn throughout the summer months. For that purpose, we accept donations of books, audiobooks, CDs, DVDs, games, LPs, and puzzles.
All donations need to be in good condition and relatively current. No Encyclopedias or other dated books (e.g. Consumer Reports Best of 2010). We prefer hardcover books, but will also accept the best quality paperbacks.
Donations are accepted during open hours and with the understanding that they may be used or disposed of as the library sees fit. We cannot make cash assessments of donations, nor do we assume the responsibility of returning to donors any items not added to the library collection.
